ARTIST BIO:
Margarita Galandina (b. 1999) is a multidisciplinary artist of Buryat-Mongolian and Russian descent, currently based in London. Her practice sits at the intersection of photography, research, and archival intervention, exploring themes of Indigeneity, migration, and memory in post-socialist and post-colonial contexts. Growing up in the Republic of Buryatia in Eastern Siberia, her work is grounded in the cultural and historical specificities of the region; Margo’s approach often bridges visual research with personal narrative through experimental image-making.
