ARTIST BIO:
Margarita Galandina is a Siberian-born multidisciplinary artist based in London. Her practice sits at the intersection of photography, drawing, research, and archival intervention, addressing questions of Indigeneity, migration, and intergenerational memory. Raised in Buryatia, eastern Siberia, her work is rooted in the cultural and historical landscapes of this region. Through experimental image-making, she weaves research with personal experience, refiguring archives and histories into new forms of visual narration.
